This blog was created to shine a spotlight on denialist misbehavior, mistakes, misrepresentation, misinformation, and misconduct. For too long, scientists have played defense. We always thought that being honest, working hard, acting with integrity, and playing by the rules would be enough. That’s a necessary but insufficient condition for producing good research and communicating it to the public and to policymakers. The other requirement has been lacking: aggressively exposing frauds, calling out cheaters, and debunking phony science. The goal of this blog is take one small step in that direction.
